Lobaria anomala is a commonly encountered specklebelly in the Pacific Northwest, one of several endemic species that characterize lush Lobarion lichen communities in the cool temperate forests of the region. Seen here growing on vine maple in the Willamette National Forest near Cascadia, Oregon.
