Horror comedy as a plane crash see 3 people stuck on an island and head to a castle. The people living there may or may not have zombies.
Starring Mantan Moreland who's very similar in comedy style to Kevin Hart.
Pretty good in places

Toy creator makes a new toy to take care of her grieving orphaned neice. That "toy" is a $10k life size doll that take its orders a bit serious when told to protect the neice.
A run of the mill "science goes wrong" elevated by a creepy M3GAN.

21. Colombo Fade Into Murder, 1976.
William Shatner plays an actor in a successful Detective show murders his agent. Comes up against Columbo as he tries to use his TV experience to aid/confuse Columbo's investigation. Shatner is convincing and Peter Falk is always great.

All all encompassing coverage of the lead upto and fallout from the Watergate scandal. 50yrs of books, memoirs and further discoveries means this is a really well researched book. A facinating story. My 2nd read of this

10. The Devil's Flute Murders by Seishi Yokomizo, 1951 this version 2023.
Crime thriller set in 1947 and Kosuke Kindaichi is asked to investigate a mystery surrounding a man thought to have died months earlier.
Atmospheric and well written. 5th book in the series

20. Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (1980)
Great animated film where Charlie Brown and friends travel to France as foreign exchange students. Surprisingly it was written by creator Charles M Schulz.
They also showed drawings of the crew during the credits.

19. The Comic (1969)
Dick Van Dyke stars as comedian during the silent picture era. A biography in all but name of the likes of Buster Keaton. If this was a fictional version it wild have the uplifting ending similar to The Artist (2011)

Lex Luthor is just too angry at the end. Wouldnt see Gene Hackman's version cry.

Books 24 in the Jack Ryan series. Presidant Ryan and his daughter in the Navy must stop a Chinese plot to invade Taiwan.
Great stuff. Katie Ryan is a better character than Ryan Jnr.
