It’s been a very busy two days in Glasgow at #CiSAC25 and I heave learned an enormous amount. There is a lot to reflect on.

I would love to know how much is spent on air bnbs in the absence of any suitable accommodation for short breaks/respite. How much would it cost to have a few flats/ bungalows as opposed to booking our luxury self-catering accommodation (some with two nights booking when only one night is needed)?
The Dundee ‘consultation’ is a list of potential cuts, each worse than the one before and a popularity contest to see who can get the most responses/ fuss. While the joint board can shrug and blame the ‘consultation’. It’s a cowardly paper exercise that causes even more isolation and hopelessness.
Would love to see a party come up with a solution for replacement care for loved ones. Wraparound care for disabled children is a particular issue affecting women. Also replacement care for adults to allow for work or a short break.
