Okay, yes, the video is absolutely fake - there is no β€œmight” about it, but the point is definitely correct - there is definitely Epstein distraction as a motivator in this war. Fuck you, WaPo, for minimizing that truth.

The shortest distance between where we are now and entrenched fascism is a terror attack. That is why we are at war with Iran. That is why Trump shrugs at the possibility of deaths on U.S. soil. And that is why Patel fired the FBI's Iranian counter-intel personnel before the first bomb fell.

Wait, $145 is not even the cost of extremely good or fancy dress shoes. That’s just normal. Why does he care? And it has to be a normal, available brand. Just exchange them for the right size. Even if he looks, he won’t be able to tell the difference.

Digital illustration of the heroic goose from Untitled Goose Game. Goose is all white with orange feet and beak and everything is rendered in flat simple shapes. Goose is standing next to a stream with greenery and blue sky behind, proudly holding the coveted shiny bell in his beak. Handwritten lettering in the sky reads β€˜Maybe it will happen today.’

This is not trueβ€”driver’s licenses aren’t acceptable under the SAVE Act without additional proof of citizenship. The fact that they keep doing this sleight of hand should make clear that the SAVE Act is not something that β€œevery American gets”

Donald Trump asked a foreign policy expert advising him why the U.S. can't use nuclear weapons, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough said on the air Wednesday, citing an unnamed source who claimed he had spoken with the GOP presidential nominee.
"Several months ago, a foreign policy expert on the international level went to advise Donald Trump. And three times [Trump] asked about the use of nuclear weapons. Three times he asked at one point if we had them why can't we use them," Scarborough said on his "Morning Joe" program.

I will just say it out loud:

I am very concerned Trump will use a tactical nuclear weapon in his quest for a quick victory over Iran.

I am reminded of the story from 2016, when Trump reportedly asked three times in a single briefing why nuclear weapons couldn’t be used:

A digitally drawn homage to the George Herriman comic strip Krazy Kat. Starting left of frame we see yellow Ignatz Mouse having just thrown a brick which is sailing across the center of the frame and in another instant will bash the oblivious Krazy Kat (a blue bipedal cartoon cat wearing a red scarf) in the back of the head as he walks innocently to the right. Everything is drawn in rough black pen and colored in pale washes. A speech bubble from Ignatz reads β€˜Maybe it will…’, the word ’Happen’ appears in the whooshing trail of the sailing brick, and a final speech bubble belonging to the Kat reads β€˜β€¦Today’.

I’m pretty sure that, yes, hydrocarbons get more expensive (and I think that includes coal), but electricity, the actual useful thing largely produced BY the hydrocarbons, is cheaper when produced by renewables like solar and wind.

Yeah, that's where I was going with that. I love Chloe Zao (The Eternals is my Spirit, I guess), but he in any way could profit, I can't give that show my eyeballs even if it's on a service I already pay for.

And now that you mention it, what about Buffy? Does he own or get any $ with the new series?

For a regime that insisted on renaming the Department of Defense the Department of War, and a new and cocky Secretary of War who can’t stop lecturing about lethality and maintaining a warrior ethos, these guys are surprisingly afraid to call a war a war.

M is for maybe this starts with an m
N is for next letter, and that one's an n
E is for easy, like spelling this word
M is for magpie, the stealingest bird
O is for only three more letters to go
N is for nearly there, you mnemonic pro
I is for imminent, this poem's end
C is for congratulations, my spellingwell friend

But I’ll always be a bit sad they didn’t go with the Kirby tone. I get why not, but God that would have been fun. 2/2

I read the Kirby Eternals a few years back, in preparation for the movie, for the first time since they first came out, when I HATED them. Now? Sweet Jesus, they’re inspired melodrama. I LOVE movie (my favorite MCU rewatch), 1/2
