Widow did damage scaling perfectly. One mask for smaller attacks, and two masks for stronger attacks. And then the rest of the game does 2 mask BULLSHIT for running into enemies

idk how to explain it but the enemies in silksong all act like they're bosses and it annoys me to hell cause i cant use them to grind beads and have to work harder to get around them

i think it's just linear in the first few hours so it can lead you to the necessary items

silksong update:Alright so i feel like the linearity is wearing off. After a couple hours, it does feel much more open. Not as open as hollow knight though.

Okay first of all, my main issue with silksong so far is that the bosses give zero rewards, that shit annoys me to hell compared to hollow knight. Not even a couple rosaries. The reward majority of the time, without fail, is just progression
