Thimble Theater feature this past weekend was T.R. BASKIN (1971). It's kind of a forgotten film, but it was great. Sad, odd, character study w/a lot of open questions which is a + w/70s cinema. Not a fan of C. Bergen, but she is impressive here.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THE FABULOUS STAINS: Baby Ray Winstone, man. Terrific movie that feels raw and lived in as opposed to something canned and corporate. I can see how this movie launched a musical revolution, even if it wasn’t apparent that it would at the time. Diane Lane is tremendous, too.
