I stand by my opinion that Golf Magazine Presents 36 Great Holes Starring Fred Couples for the Sega Genesis 32X is the last game you'd expect to have a main menu theme that goes *this* hard. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QUd...

Science rules!
I've ridden in many EVs and never felt woozy...except for ones that have terrible chassis tuning, which is entirely on the automaker and not the fact the car's electric.
Making cars is hard. Making a good car is even harder. Traditional automakers make far better EVs than tech companies!
Never been this burnt out in all my life. The work that's piled up feels completely insurmountable, and every minute I'm on a conference call is further adding to the pile alongside endless psychological torture.
Trying to tough it out but my resignation might be just a few weeks away.
Now if only I could do this with work...
Gorgeous suit!
I'd like to thank work stress for me missing two of my best friends' wedding yesterday because I conflated the ceremony start time with a meeting time, and wasn't there for the most important moment of their lives.
Fuck capitalism. Seriously.
It's always DNS
This is middle management in a nutshell. Appearances are more important than getting stuff done...because very rarely does anyone at the top understand what productivity actually looks like.
That "just right for 5'3" person" head might be exactly what my partner is looking for in a suit head. Sent her your way!
These last 3 weeks in Detroit have proven to me that the things you hear about a place and the reality of the place aren't always the same.
For the first time ever, I can say I'm actually looking forward to coming back to a city.

Same and oh my god, finding Multimedia Fusion on a whim for $20 at a Best Buy clearance bin in 2001 gave me so much life
One of Maxis' last published softwares here in the US was Klik and Play, a game creation tool that I firmly believe was responsible for the explosion of Postcardware in the mid-late 90s. Still fun to dabble - one of the best 2D blitters on Windows from the era before DirectX / OpenGL unification.

I stand firmly in my belief that the most useful thing you can bring to a con is a 5-cup drip coffeemaker. $15 from your Capitalist Megahellstore of Choice and you've got hot water and coffee you can actually trust isn't full of mold and bacteria from a machine last cleaned in the 2010s
Picture of Laugh Boston at the Westin Seaport, with the "L" and "A" conveniently obscured to read "UGH BOSTON"
This about sums up conventions in Seaport, Boston MA

Is it exhaustion? Burnout? Existential doom? Heartburn? Dehydration? Alzheimers? Hangover?
How I wish human bodies had OBD-II ports...
I'm just saying, my disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined. For nothing.
Forget the Internet - physical presence is the strongest voice of all. NH barely fogged a goddamn mirror.
Blame the cold if you must but I think ensuring the basic human right to life and dignity for all VASTLY outweighs the slight discomfort of standing outside in 30 degree weather for a few hours.
Bundle the fuck up.
I don't know any other way to put it.
If you're upset by what's happening, stop doomscrolling, get off the Internet, get the fuck out there.
The numbers are MUCH smaller than you think, on both sides. Every person counts for a greater collective impact.
Get loud. Very loud. Live Free or Die.
Being able to see the site of one of today's massive demonstrations from the window of my home is not doing me any favors today.
I know there's a 99% probability that everything will be fine, but my M.O. is plan for the 1% so I'm not caught holding the bag. And I don't like what I saw already.
Well I'm getting hardly any sleep tonight
...wrong?
