Last week's Engineering Dinner brought together generations of alumni, current students & academics to celebrate the subject. It is always a pleasure to welcome back former students and learn about their post-SPC journeys, especially when current students have the chance to hear those stories, too!

30 aspiring mathematicians joined us last week for our Maths Taster Day! Dr Pierrick Bousseau and Dr Jamshid Derakhshan led fascinating extended Pure Maths lectures, supported by our undergraduates. It was a fantastic day in College - we wish them all the best in their future studies!

Another St Peter's #ValentinesDay story for you: Organ Scholar David (Music, 1991) met Claire (Mod Languages, 1992), who sang sang in the Choir. They were married in the College Chapel by Revd Christopher Jones (2 weeks after sitting my finals) and celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary this year!

Today's St Peter's #ValentinesDay story comes from Zuhaira (History & Politics, 2020) and Ibraheem (Biochemistry, 2020, Oriel College) 'I won't go into too much detail about how I met him, but it involved me yelling at him. Fast forward 5 years later, we are happily married with a 1-year old boy.'

Another sweet St Peter's Valentine's story: Kimberly (MSc History of Art and Visual Culture, 2018) and Dominic (MSc Philosophical Theology, 2018) met on the MCR couches in October 2018, and were married in August 2024! #ValentinesDay

This #ValentinesDay, we're sharing some love stories that started right here. Jonathan (MSc Financial Economics, 2013) and Alyssa (MSc Visual Material & Museum Anthropology, 2013) met in 2013 in the MCR and hit it off right away. Married in 2017, they now have two lovely children. Happy Valentine's!
