Biblically accurate Super Smash Brothers Melee cover art depicting the number of Foxes
Normally, characters get stuck on platforms when Marth is under them, due to his massive reach with his sword. He usually gets free combos and follow-ups. But Melee's jank allows my bottom-tier character to actually do something about it and get around it.
By holding down on the c-stick and main stick into a bottom-side notch, I can perform "ASDI down" which prevent's Marth's up air or up-tilt from launching Bowser, and I get an instant slide-off with lets me act immediately, which is why I am able to instantaneously grab Marth just after the hit.
Don't know why I didn't learn this until now lol. It's super easy. #melee #ssbm
