Alec, this is your finest work.

Man I get the sentiment but big companies take an unbelievably long time to die. BlackBerry and Kodak still exist. AOL and Yahoo still exist. Myspace still exists.
How long did Sears take to die? 30 years?
I have a toddler. So lots of the same books we read yesterday. Most recently "The Animal Song".
but also, we don't need to replace the ~25% of everyday bats we had in September that we no longer have under contract.
they don't put my ideas in front of actual customers ๐คก.
Metal even supports ROA* target bidding, so this happens 100% automatically.
As a result, meta has no incentive to "serve" fake ads to fake users or include those users in metrics at all.
*Return on Advertising Spend
If the ads suddenly convert worse overnight, you'll just see lower bids for the same ads until equilibrium is restored.
If you add impressions that don't convert, the willingness to pay $/impression goes down, such that the $/conversion stays the same.
Put another way, as an advertiser if you sell a product that's $100 of profit, you'll buy any ads that cost less than ~$90 per purchase.
Won't matter for advertisers one way or another. The metrics that matter in advertising ($/conversion), especially on Facebook platforms where conversion tracking is so sophisticated, aren't really effected by adding low quality impressions to traffic.
I think the question is, if you need a start instead of bats, are there takers for your prospects (unlike getting bats apparently).
In other words how much would Skenes cost?
For the next mailbag Monday, @tdg.bsky.social, @mlbcolby.bsky.social
With Guardians selling, what's a reasonable trade package for JRam?
Could never have happened without Dan Wilson's veteran leadership. Extend him.
If you have to ask, you should just use Excel.
Right on. You shouldn't be allowed to query the date warehouse unless you know how to traverse a b+tree in your query.
SQL is honestly too simplistic and naively accessible for my taste. I want to implement the sorting algorithm and design the data structure with low-level memory management on each query...in Rust. Call it RustQL. Why let the database automatically optimize what I can do by hand? [1/3]
last week we got the All AL-West Squad, and you asked for more questions like that. So, the obvious follow up is? What are the rest of the All-Division squads (one a week?)
Discounted season tickets.
The July fiscal does a nice job of easing me into /confusing me about writing the next year.
I can't believe you didn't label the positive x axis "Excel"
It's the only visual that lets you do practically anything. I guess r and python vis too but I wouldn't wish that on anyone
Am I allowed to say Deneb?
About as mad as if I was MLB player asked to play 81 games a year in Sacramento's AAA stadium.
If the Phillies want Logan Gilbert, what's a realistic offer if the M's can't just say "no offer"?
If I had a guess I'd make it a #fanfictionfriday.
I think a 3 team deal is probably the only way a Bohm to the M's deal gets done since both teams clearly want someone that makes them better now.
If you ever think you'll need to get a bigger PBI capacity, spend some money on training first.
One of the best expected value trades you can make.
(or if you think you need to go from pro to ppu or pro to a capacity because of perf)

or go nuts and try to get Crochet.
Or like go nuts and see if a deal with anyone but Colt and Laz can get you Crochet. Idk maybe you're even willing to move Laz in that scenario.
I think even if we don't land Roki, you might consider this deal if you can line up a deal for an arb or pre-arb #4/5 starter by moving a few top prospects.
Deleted my post. I misread and thought Nico was going to Philly not the Mariners. Basically, every part of my reaction is wrong. If we could get both Bohm and Hoerner, that would be amazing.
If anything I'd think we'd have to send more to the Phillies, not less.
I'm really liking this thing called SQL.
