Why tenured academics and administrators insist that using this technology is unproblematic and just how the future should work with none of our input is baffling to me. Feels like a modern cargo cult.
I would love critics to humiliate me publicly if this is not as good as I think it is. I would also like any possible contributors to do the opposite and open an issue/discussion on github. Thanks!
I did a very crude POC of this approach and the design pattern is very promising. It could solve entire classes of issues in both merge & rewind as well as CI/CD operations.

All I can think about is Jeff Bezos saying that he slashed jobs at the Washington Post — including those of foreign correspondents in the Middle East — based on "the data," and a few weeks later a whole war breaks out in the Middle East that these laid off folks would have covered as true experts.
