Our proposal would temporarily redirect existing Real Estate Excise Tax (REET2) dollars to repair and restore safe access for our communities.

Did you know King County works to restore the natural habitat of salmon? Yesterday I visited the hard working staff of Water and Land Resources Division to see Chinook Wind. What used to be a rundown hotel site is now transformed into natural habitat that will support salmon recovery for generations
On this Day of Remembrance, we remember a shameful period in our nation's history — the internment of Japanese Americans, including many Washingtonians.
This history is chillingly familiar at a time when we see unmarked vehicles and masked agents picking people up off the streets...
And soon they will be expanding this service to include more weekends and more hours so more people can get to work, to the hospital, to see friends, and more.
