2026 has hit again, with the sad loss of Jennifer Runyon.
Thank you for the smiles and laughs. Rest In Peace π’
One of my favourite scenes with her is the ESP scene from Ghostbusters (1984):

I even reacted to The Incredible Shrinking Man (1957) and delved into the trivia on it, along with the 1981 film

If you love this, check out "The Incredible Shrinking Man" (1957), based on the 1956 novel & "The Incredible Shrinking Woman" (1981), if you'd prefer to stick to comedy.
Even the "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids" films are fun... maybe "Tom Thumb" (1958)?

Thought I'd share these if anyone uses either. Always great to find new favourite films/shows.

Oh no... I remember the janky "Send Message". Not a full modern inbox feature. Don't know how I feel about this.
I like it in theory... but it makes it more of a "social media"... which it's not in the current state.
This just gives them a better excuse for ID verification π€¦ββοΈ
Woah, heavy... I never knew there was different "You made it" audio in new releases of Back To The Future, compared to VHS.
Must be ADR or just audio taken from a different take for just that line due to the audio clipping, as the shot itself is the same.

It took me since last night to get these videos to work correctly without erroring, and then I incorrectly spell Erivo's name π€¦ββοΈπ

The 'In Memoriam' part of The Actor Awards had me in tears... I hadn't realised we had lost so many talented legends. Absolutely heartbreaking... they will be missed π’ A moving tribute and a beautiful cover of "Everytime We Go Away" by Cyntha Erivo.

HOT FUZZ was released 19 years ago today. The second entry in Edgar Wrightβs Cornetto Trilogy and one of the most beloved British comedies this century, the tale of how it was made is like firing two guns whilst jumping through the airβ¦

A fan video from 2004 Doctor Who filming seemingly confirms a persistent rumor that a dangerous stunt occurred.

To those of you in the US, I've just seen footage of the blizzard π± Stay safe out there, please! π
Also, for those wondering, the deaf performers are Celimar Rivera Cosme and Julian Ortiz. Whoever did the camerawork for the main show, whether one or a few, you deserve a raise! Oh and that dolly shot with Bad Bunny AND the flyover shot for Charlie Puth's song? Impeccable!
The Super Bowl performances were all stellar though. I loved the mix of culture, the music and insanely good camerawork. I know it's all rehearsed within an inch of its life, but bravo. Also, a huge congratulations to the happy couple who I learned got married for real on stage!
Not only did I LOVE the Super Bowl performances of Bad Bunny and Lady Gaga, but even the sign language interpreters are doing a whole other entertaining performance! So awesome to see

Oh, these extra interactions were brilliant! They added so much depth to the scenes, making it feel more alive.
I love the weird, quirky Doctor-isms.
It turns out so much, not just footage, was removed from The Star Beast.
Thank you to @racheltalalay.com for this!

Rest In Peace, Tom Noonan.
You always creeped me out playing 'The Ripper' in 'Last Action Hero' (1993), but you played it masterfully well. That goes for your many more roles in films over the years, that we'll always remember.
Thank you!
NEW VID! Watching 'Picnic At Hanging Rock' (1975), a superb psychological drama that certainly knows how to creep under your skin. Enjoy!

YES! I'm so glad SAG-AFTRA are saying something about it. I completely agree π
I'm SO glad they're pushing back!
Also, I wonder where they got the AI training data from... ByteDance owns TikTok.
If measures are not taken, we WILL end the film industry as we know it... and the world.
Human soul/emotion can never be fully realised in film with AI.
Totally ineffable π

Terrible idea having AI in film marketing. It's just adding more sludge to the pile. AI will only crumble the film industry more over time.
They like imitating their own franchise by killing it off, don't they? Harming the art of filmmaking and creativity.
