Birchy blue mug
Birchy blue mug
Having a slow making summer. One of the favs I pulled out of the kiln last night.
Another hazy drip π§
Hazy pink drips
This is how my morning started.
Brilliant Monday all round ππ»
A couple of people have asked me to make them lidded jars. I guess it was about time I gave it a try π¬. I cant decide if the one on the right looks like a pear or a balloon.
Creamsicle vibes π
Lately Iβve been wedging leftover chunks of clay together and making different shaped vases. This little peach butt was inspired by a glass vase that I saw on Pinterest while scrolling for dinner ideas, go figure.
Thanks so much π
Thanks! π
Thanks so much π
Aurora Borealis glaze combo β¨
Starry night mug fresh outta the kiln. I think Iβll add this one to my mug making rotation.
I mean, come on! π
Speaking to a friend today about what we planned for our gardens this summer and it made me miss my dahlias.
Thanks, Amber. Iβm going to glaze them this week and then do the 2nd firing next weekend. Hoping they turn out π€π»
I know this is obvious but it literally just dawned on me this week that I can make my own dishes. Like, I no longer have to rely on finding someone else to make what I want ππ€¦πΌββοΈ
Ran the kiln last night and even though it hits a temp of approx 1900F, itβs still annoying that you have to wait 18 or so hours for it to cool down before you can open the lid.
Big olβ pasta bowls headed to the kiln this weekend!
Same, I grew it for one season and that was it for me.
Iβm so angry and annoyed. I saw a post earlier where the person said that weβll basically go back to the polls in 4yrs with a 20ft tunnel built and 8 registered doctors in the city of Toronto. I thought that was pretty fitting.
Beautiful! My goal this year is to conquer making bowls. Yours are great.
I love watching them crawl up and down trees. Iβve nicknamed them Velcro birds cause they do it so seamlessly.
It is! Fingers crossed I get some good tubers from it at the end of the season & I can pass some on to you.
What variety is the mauve one in the back?
I kind of promised myself that I wouldnβt buy any new dahlia varieties this year but when I received an email with this beauties availability, I buckled. The addiction is real & I canβt stay away π¬
Thanks, Nat!
Holy burnout Batman!
Itβs been 2 months since Iβve made anything on the wheel. After the holiday rush I needed to miss this. Looking forward to having fun again & experimenting with new pieces.
