A poorly planned method of self defense meant a very big fire in a very packed and flammable alchemy lab. What exactly happened? Who knows! Not even me! Because we're playing a campaign with memory shenanigans!

Living in a city so close to the border of a land overrun with undead, one might say it was only a matter of time before some influence seeped in.
Content that the boys were raised well, were settled, and could handle themselves now, their parents set to retire and moved to a big city!
The boys got older, finished their schooling, and took on work. Faust's brother Melthiek didn't take long to follow in their mother's footsteps, elected mayor over his dedication to aiding city defenses, while Faust was content in aiding with his alchemy experience. They got along as siblings do.
Very protective of his family, even if he's always been a big softy. c:

He went from being a one of a few orphaned kids that just ran around a farming town doing work in exchange for being fed and clothed, to being adopted by a family of very wealthy gnomes! There was a slight adjustment period.
Little man got lost in the woods when he was very young, and being as minotaurs always know which way is north... he just went north :)

I've been working on a bunch of backstory doodles for my little guy Faust. I want to share them all in a thread when I'm done, so I'm saying this out loud for accountability purposes lol

These are all icons I'd made for last year's artfight and a good example of what they'd look like! Dot eyes, with a simple pattern background, and flat minimal shading with highlights~

If you've been in these circles, and listening to people talk about how much you need to go see the new Loony Tunes movie, to give your support, and about how much of a desire there is to see more 2D animated movies And you're thinking about the animated shows you've already seen, genuinely wondering what the big deal is Then you should consider going to see "The Day the Earth Blew Up" Actually seeing it is going to be the best way to understand, I think. I'm already an advocate for 2D animation, and it was a good moment of remembering why. And if you come out of it, and you still don't really care, then alright, we all have our preferences. It's still just a silly good time. But you will at least come out of it understanding why other people do 👍
