How come “How are you going to pay for it?” is never asked about endless war?

There are non US citizens influencing our elections, they’re called corporations.
The establishment wants us to not focus on this.
DreamHaven Books owner Greg Ketter emerging from a cloud of tear gas that ICE agents fired into the streets of Minneapolis.
Remember the other day when I was saluting my friend Greg Ketter, owner of Minneapolis’ DreamHaven Books? This is him the following day. Greg will never say this, so I will — now is a great time to buy books from DreamHaven. Support Americans who stand up vs. 🧊. dreamhavenbooks.com
Im wondering if ICE has been order to shoot to kill now so there is a constant defection from the Epstein files. Kind of makes sense
NEWS: The U.S. Department of Justice has formally moved to block the appointment of an independent monitor or special master to oversee the release of Epstein-related records
For those that don’t know, Minneapolis unions called for a statewide strike

A top anti-abortion leader in the state says abortion patients should be prosecuted under his new bill to classify having an abortion as homicide: “Women openly boasting about abortions...those women are not victims. Nobody by nature of being a woman should be immune from prosecution.”

Mike Pence just reposted an old article he wrote about the limitations on the powers of a president. For some reason. Here is a part of it.
This is all a good reminder that, “no help, no votes until the criminal conduct stops” is neither a big ask nor a politically perilous one.
That so many don't realize that the judiciary is a check and balance on the executive (and legislative) branch affirms how broken civics curriculum/education is in our country.
I work for an NIH funded research study at a university. I believe it'll be more of a knockout punch than a pinch in our community. The university and university hospital are a huge part of our economy. Sadly I don't think most people see the bigger picture.
The CFPB is one of the American people’s best defenses against waste, fraud, and abuse.
Demolishing it will, of course, lead to more waste, fraud, and abuse.
At least a couple of viral clips would be created & uploaded, though.
Exactly! I used to think the ultra rich needed to be taxed higher because no one really needs so much. Now, I think it should actually be a crime to hoard obscene wealth due to the extreme harm it does to the individual &society.
Goran World - yesterday As someone who grew up under an authoritarian regime, I can offer one crucial piece of advice: time is everything. If you don’t stand up now—if you don’t protest, resist, disrupt, and refuse to comply—you may lose your country forever. Authoritarianism thrives on silence, hesitation, and fear. The longer people wait, the more entrenched the regime becomes, making resistance exponentially harder. Every moment of inaction is a moment the regime uses to tighten its grip. History has shown that those who act early have the best chance of reclaiming their freedom. The time to fight back is now.

Tesla earned $2.3 billion in the United States in 2024.
You'd think it paid a lot in taxes, right?
Well it paid precisely $0 in federal income taxes last year.
You want waste and fraud? Look at what some big corporations and the rich are getting away with.
It’s just bleak that there’s a considerable amount of people who are like “thank goodness the worlds richest human being is stopping the tyranny of the consumer financial protection bureau and that guy who collects atmospheric data”

Used to work in a hospice unit at a VA hospital. Fox News was on a lot. One night a dying patient, who couldn't speak was trying desperately to communicate. Eventually I figured out his TV was left on Fox News all day & he wanted it off. What horrible torture that must have been.
I never understood why "trump derangement syndrome" is supposed to be an insult. No s*** we're all suffering from it - not because we're overly concerned, but because we're being conditioned to feel the deranged is normal.
Well said. I agree.
