I’ve just shopped those in my effort to hydrate my own similar apartment (no wonder all the plants were going limp). Big one for that area. Smaller one for bedroom turned out to also be a kids’ LED nightlight that cycles through neon colors on a loop. 🤦♀️ I hadn’t had that info pre-purchase.
I liked George Carlin’s idea about fencing off the big square states in the middle and letting all the stupid people live there.
This just happened to me too and it turned out it was because the radiators in my apartment keep it at 10% humidity.
My research shows that an apartment with 10% humidity is less an apartment than a desert biome… or Mars.
I bought humidifiers for each room and was miraculously cured. Worth a try!
I am hoping this winter at least brings more people around to the correct position of, “One picturesque snowfall in NYC for a couple days in December/January is fine, then basta with that shit.”
