Marimon! #Marimon is a #pixelart project of mine that imagines a game-like world inspired by monster-collecting gameboy RPGs and the gulf coast, full of (loosely) fishing and aquatic-themed creatures in a region called Pelagio.
Game jams are pretty good for this

I feel the same way about bats. How cool would it be to have a bird cage with a little fuzzy guy hanging upside down inside??
Woah! That zoom out and zoom in must have rotoscoped, right? Either that or maybe early computer assisted animation.
Love them both but especially the little bald hatchling!!!
I have a random memory of the late 90s or early 2000s. The local magazine/tv guide had an issue with some unofficial 3D renders of Pokemon as a pull out poster. It was the first time I saw elekid! I really want to find a copy and see if they were yours.
When I found out this was a reference to Michael Jordon I'm pretty sure I died
Thats... really not accurate at all. Sketches can look better because the vagueness of detail allows the viewer to "see" what makes the most sense. Clean line art nails that down to a definite line with no forgiving wiggle room.
I swear I've seen Hank pogging in the new show
Hmmmmm.... HMMMMMMM.....
I'd bow, but I'm too embarrassed!
Now Bob, I gotta warn you. the Switch 2 isn't perfect.
Ah'm dirt
Yeah! I figured out how to play the music to Space Zone 2 by ear as a kid and it still gets stuck in my head.
Here's a handful of GBC style pixel portraits I've made for friends over the past few years. Capturing a likeness at this resolution is tough but fun! #pixelart
I don't post much but when I do, it's often GBC style stuff!
Is the implication here that they're fake drawings? Obviously they're the work of an adult trying to draw like a child, but it looks like real crayon to me. I think his scanner bed was just filthy.
I love that he's basically wearing the same shirt as he does in the game for his mugshot.
He's wearing sneakers, you see, for sneaking
You mean gif support on bluesky? It's already here! You need to use the video upload button but it accepts gifs just fine
Inspired by Nosferatu, cockroaches and weevils. The name comes from "necro" and "cockroach".
Inspirations include ribcages, pupas and glow-in-the-dark halloween decorations. The name comes from "wriggle" and "rigor mortis"
Inspirations include "worm food", a skull and vertibrae, and Peter Lorre's likeness, kinda. The name comes from "caterpiller" and "catacomb".
Final stage of the skeleton bug line, Necroach!

Here's Wrigormor, Catercomb's pupal stage.

Catercomb! Would grave keepers keep these guys as pets or consider them pests? ๐ค

Catercomb, Wrigormor, and Necroach, a line of bug fakemon I made based on skeletons and Nosferatu-style vampires. Dex entries coming! #pixelart
