This May 7 2026, every single seat in the council is up for grabs. This is a profound opportunity. Many areas are greens vs reform. We need you!

Tonight is the last of my official Newcastle Council meeting’s before the elections.

As well as countless other unofficial meetings, I am proud to say that I’ve had 100% attendance rate.

When I was elected in 2024, I was determined to take this role seriously.

Residents of Lancefield Avenue and Readhead Drive got in touch with us about the litter on the grass outside Aldi on Walker Road. Greens were out in force on Saturday to tidy up the area. Thanks to the residents who raised it to us and to all our amazing volunteers!

@greenparty.org.uk has selected me to run for Monument ward in May. That’s the ward I represented before I was Mayor. I’ll be part of an increasingly strong Green team. Greens won the recent South Jesmond by-election. Labour vote fell from 43% to 17%, most switching to the Greens.
