I read an article by Simmone Shah this morning about intentional shopping and women not participating in Trump's economy. It involves rethinking of how you spend your money and where. I have some thinking to do about this, as in the coming years I think it is important to support small businesses.

Here in southeastern Ohio we had 2 degrees this morning. My dog and I are warm and cozy in our tiny house, but I can't help but think of all the homeless people right now. Why can't we open up some of these closed buildings up for shelter in this cold?

Every year I try to read two books a month. Now, that doesn't sound like a lot but for someone who is dyslexic, it can be a trial. Right now, I am reading the Wicked book. Yes, I knew it was dark before I started.
