A month ago, I wrapped up my time as a VIPS scholar at Princeton University at the Adversity and Relationships in Context (ARC) lab where we studied how first-gen, low-income students use acculturation strategies to navigate college and home. Huge thanks to Dr. Carey, Priscilla, and the ARC lab!

Newark Mayor Ras Baraka has been arrested by the DOJ after Members of Congress (apparently being shoved by agents) attempted to include him on a visit.
Baraka has opposed the facility, saying it opened without permits.
