The Complexities on failed starts or shorter relationships were always easier to digest, write about, commit to music as a processing tool.

Kinda venting things here since it’s outside a lot of my circles, but going through breakups are weird. I knew things were practically ending (without 100% clarity on it) and definitely was frustrated by that, but now that it’s truly over, grasping that concept of being single again is…off-putting..

This one saving grace to my terrible shift when a manager just left when we had a line out the door, only one person in house (another out on delivery) and I was losing my cool to everything but the staff and customers. 😤 doesn’t make it worth it but it really brought me back to earth a bit.

They’re immensely overrated in comparison to today’s music. Good tunes, yes, but that’s simply cause they were the first to a lot of innovation in music recording. (Concept albums, video as an art form, using studios as instruments, standardized pop songs)
