One of them said it would be fun to get maple from a tree so they poked the tree to get it out of there. But what came out of the tree was watery and maroon red. That's right. It was blood. They thought it must just be a weird tree with a bad disease from the bugs. So they tried another tree and it was also blood. They tried the next tree and it dripped with crimson blood. When they got home no one believed them about the blood forest. ASTER: Chilling, definitely. Though I'm not sure it would look any different were it a pure fabrication. DAFFODIL: My heart believes in this. But I bet I could think of something scarier. (Grassy looks at Daffodil with wide-eyed terror.)
