Reddit posters say "if im being honest i worked so hard on the application that i can't even look at it knowing this without crying" and "we literally need a support group like i could not bring myself to get out of bed this morning. i'm so distraught." www.reddit.com/r/labrats/co...
Imagine all the work that goes in to a scientific grant application just to have it all thrown away solely because you are part of a group that is underrepresented in science.
Please tell your representative:
1) I'm not just a teacher in your district, I'm essentially an entrepreneur running a small business.
2) I employ XX people at good wages, ranging from $Y-Z.
3) Blocking the operation of the NIH prevents this and damages our local economy

DMSO is the sauce! It can lower the Tm though, are you adjusting annealing temp for those?
Moths can hear the clicking wails of a sad, dry, injured plant.
And they run the other way to lay their eggs. Totally wild to think how many things around us are communicating in ways we cannot even comprehend! www.nytimes.com/2024/12/06/s...

sound advice from @jennifermach.bsky.social
please pay attention all you writers out there!! No acronyms that don't save a word. No acronyms for terms not used more than 3 times. And really, just cut out the acronyms, they just make text harder to read and understand..
It's #GivingTuesday! Our goal is to increase our monthly donors.
Getting $5-10 a month from hundreds of people is how we've sustained our program for the last 8 years! Monthly donations keep us stable, so we can focus on what's important!

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. Each year, the trans community loses too many lives, especially trans women of color, to hate and violence.
More than ever, we must stand by our trans family and support them, hold space for them, and insist the scapegoating and targeting stop.
Now.
