I'm honestly doubtful that was the case. I hope that was the case.

He actually played him in one scene in Across, Mahershala Ali voiced him in Into. But the connections are there.
Oh, and Mario Galaxy still looks like a heap of fun.
And Brie Larson was clearly, CLEARLY happy to be in the direct. I do not blame her. She has always been a big Nintendo fan, she deserves it.
So far, he did a pretty phenomenal job imitating Totaka.
THAT WAS DONALD GLOVER?!?!?
Have a Diane!

And the first trailer, the one that is still playing in theaters, was attached to Superman.
Little has changed in a year.
You and me both...
...although in another world, the actual film would have already been out for a week by now.
And to think it was supposed to come out two weeks ago...
...only... ...8 more months!
I'm very, VERY doubtful it will. Especially since it is still in quite early development.
Twitter is now worse than useless and I have no regrets about leaving it.
It actively promotes fascist propaganda and is a cesspool of bigotry.
Ono Ghost Market was also the Pixar film that came out of the initially scrapped Disney+ show.
Will say this, compared to say, Moana 2 and Search for SquarePants, the Pixar team did have already have a much better grasp of getting it from streaming to the big screen.
...this decade, and I do think it will get even bigger by the end of this decade.
With that said, Shi's musical film, Ono Ghost Market, and Monsters Inc. 2 do have me intrigued.
(I know, I did not forget Monsters University. But it was mainly a prequel film and not a full on sequel.)
I don't have too much to say about the recent Pixar news...
...although I do think Docter's reasonings for what happened on Elio were clearly an "appeasing the executives at Disney" reasoning. Still should have been worded a lot better, though.
And we have gotten more originals than sequels...

Cool fun fact:
Mutant Mayhem co director Kyler Spears did some additional voices on Hoppers.
Animators always stick together.
Seems like Nintendo and Ben Stiller have had enough of the Orange Man who is leading America.
Love to see it.
Here comes the bride. I had no idea what was going on for rather big chunks of it, but I still had some fun.

Can also hear Quan's delivery too.
Here's another one.
I can hear Halsey's delivery of that line in my head.
That Borderlands film has some other amazing lines, I really do want to watch it one day
The Super Mario Galaxy logo generator is fun.
And yes, that is a line said in an actual film.
That just makes things even more sad. Wayans is someone who really, REALLY should know better.
What RaisorBlade thinks the message of trust is in Raya and the Last Dragon.
What I think the message of trust is in Raya and the Last Dragon.
"Trust people blindly and forgive people who literally try to kill you."
That's not even the message of the movie.
Oh.
Oh.....
With a selling point like that, I am worried.
Plus, Sanders is still also writing the film. It cannot be in more safer hands than this.
Troy Quane helming The Wild Robot Escapes cannot be a better sign for it.
As well as Heidi Jo Gilbert. She has been with Roz and Brightbill since the beginning.
(what made the original book work.)
But then again, nothing says George Orwell like "That sounds awesome! I love to laugh! Heh, heh, heh!".
...just that.
I know he himself has his issues(including his AI stances... ...yeesh.), but I do feel bad for Serkis here, and this was clearly a film that was heavily meddled with. My god.
And tickets for it are now on sale. Pay it forward, as Angel always says with their scams!
Heck, you could have done a great modern day adaptation with Serkis still helming it AND Rogen still voicing Napoleon. I know little about the book, but what I do know is that Napoleon is someone who does trick and manipulate many with his power. And Rogen could have done a fantastic job doing...
