Turtles were hunted mercilessly for their delicious meat & sailors ate the ones being brought to the UK on the voyage so none of one particular species was saved!

A great kitchen array of copper pans & pots at Burghley House. Including, rather poignantly, a turtle shaped one. Turtle was a great delicacy in the 18th & 19th Centuries, so much so that one variety became extinct.

It is not legal here. If anyone is caught farming it you go to jail for it for the rest of your life

I love it inside the water. Feeling the nature. I may someday work as a rescue volunteer to save lives in the sea or lakes. I have seen people dying inside the water people have to stand and watch them die cuz of bad swimming skills

lol but am not a good swimmer. I only do it for fun sometimes but definitely not hat you said is true cuz I have seen it. People dying in the river or in this lake cuz of mad swimming. If I know how to swim well I’d join the rescue serve and make that my job yes it would be so nice

I came back home since yesterday it is a long walk from my village. And I don’t go there everyday just during my free times I go there with friends to have fun. The ocean is very far from me

The kembuje village lake of history. I visited this place evert weekend to train swimming and do fishing with friend.

This is where everybody rush in morning to get to get stuffs. The Fish market and vegetables selling stores for our daily meal about 2 minutes walk from my village ( Gidda )
