Sounds like we need to add Control Resonant to Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale!

Sounds like we need to add Control Resonant to Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale!
The final version... but with a twist!
Super 8. i walked out within the first fifteen minutes, but because it was a work event at Superbot I sat off the time in the lobby feeling lucky I at least didn't have to suffer the remainder of that movie.
Yes! I'm feeling good about it. and trying to get it all wrapped up, but I designed way too many puzzles so now I have to fit all the pieces together.
Screenshot from Island Adventure, a Commodore 64 puzzle adventure game in progress!
I just integrated the 100th puzzle into the Island Adventure story!
Island Adventure is a puzzle+adventure game for the #Commodore64 that I'm working on. I'm taking a little break from making more art and code to get all the design in place.
I still have more than half the puzzles left to hook up.
Ohh! Ultros. I know that game!
Game development - it is a lot of work, isn't it?
Title screen for Island Adventure for the Commodore 64
Still working on Island Adventure for the Commodore 64. At this point I am not programming anything new, just hooking up puzzles to the gameplay in script. Making a little progress each day before I can start on bug fixing and polish :)
tantalizing promise of a Civ 7 arcade cabinet which is not coming.
Unsurprisingly not a stand-up arcade cabinet but the game service named "Arcade" :(
world's a duck, share an island
There is a valid point there though, AI Slop is a poor abbreviation of Artificially Simulated Shit Slop. We should drop the AI part.
I know, I know, but I am trying to make a lot of good games, it just takes so much time…
Pretty much always 40 hours a week of dedicated work. Working in games for 32 years I've discovered that there are no productivity gains exceeding that.
But that does not mean I'm not coding games and doing pixel art in my spare time, just not paid work :)
I do too, just mixed the games up in my head :) Sometimes I'm not even sure which game I'm working on right now.
Back of the box games of the Commodore 64 Ultimate packaging that is currently starting to ship out!
I excitedly noticed in one of the #Commodore64 #Ultimate reviews that Space Moguls is featured on the back of the box🎉
Personal Big Deal!
I have only had one previous game featured on a console/computer packaging - Shrek 2 (+Lego Indiana Jones) was featured on the holiday packaging of the XBox 360📦
Oooh! Now I can imagine the Tarot based Tech Bubble coming up :)
I just spent way too much time trying to get MAME to accept my Mega Drive ROM I'm working on and fiddling with bytes in the header to get it to work.
Turns out -genesis will not run a ROM with SEGA MEGA DRIVE in the header, you must use -megadriv.
(no error message either...)
But now I can debug!
Seems like it has been announced! Space Moguls comes with the new ultimate C64 on a USB drive!

Steam Machine as a Banana holding mechanism.
Ouya - the cube shaped game console that is not by Nintendo
Best cynical name for Steam Machine I seen so far: Twouya (Ouya 2)
Steam does what Microso-don't or something
Tiger Heli was fun to work on! Lately though I’ve been confusing it with Ports of Call graphics due to the early harbour stage…
And here is the optimization post, wrote some stuff about what I work on on the team!
Posting a picture of some cows before the internet reacts to my work post ;)
I've implemented collision in my current #Commodore64 game project and now I have to decide if hitting something kills you or if you lose "energy" and I need to push the player vessel out of collision.
It is quite fun to do some fairly trivial math in 6502 assembler, when it all works of course....
I have written some stuff, revealing my pdt project, included some profiling graphs and some fun stories together with a few other coders on the team..
Pre-orders for Earthion by Ancient are live!
Strap in and deploy a devastating arsenal as you fight your way through eight chaotic levels, each with unique environments, enemies and boss fights.
Thank you! And may you have a pleasant path ahead :)
It feels just like when they were flooding all the cities with electric scooters but at the same time more annoying.
I am sorry, but I felt I had to get those old Toaplan games redone. But fear not Luke, from now on I promise many *new* Commodore 64 and Mega Drive games! Earthion was new at least :)
