Saw this show a week ago and I'm still thinking about it. The cast, the staging - everything was fantastic!

The Flower of Gower Gulch. Here for movies, music, decent peeps and all the floofs. Don't forget the alt-text ๐จ๐ฆโค๏ธ "A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down your pants." - Chuckles the Clown

Thanks and back atcha! ๐๐ฅฐ
Itโs Bob Fosseโs birthday.
Brilliant choreographer and could dance a bit too.
Tommy Rall is phenomenal here. Fosse came up through vaudeville & Rall trained as a ballet dancer so itโs a fascinating scene to study.

Mildred Natwick and Danny Kaye stand face to face in this scene from The Court Jester. She has just introduced herself as Griselda to Kaye's character Hawkins. His response is the text below: "Gruwhoolda?"
And my fave, Griselda in The Court Jester ๐
Same!๐๐
I don't know anyone else who loves Hello Again! A perfect double-bill with Troop Beverly Hills ๐
"Tetrodotoxin!"
Love this movie๐ฉท
I respect Ennio Moricone because he wasn't about manipulating the audience's emotions. If anything, he wrote film scores in opposition to emotion. You might feel emotional - but not because Ennio has you on a string.(Only exception might be Cinema Paradiso but I'm gonna let that slide. ๐) #TCMParty

โ.. Jesus, that ear. He should donate it to the Smithsonian. .. He made all his records with four tracks, but you couldn't make his records if you had a hundred tracks today.โ

Love this soundtrack too โค๏ธ
Happy birthday to my first movie star crush, Clint Eastwood. He's 95 years old today. I'm recommending 1971 as a very good year for anyone looking for an intro to his work. (And proof that he can emote when the role calls for it. ๐)
โThe Beguiled
โDirty Harry
โPlay Misty For Me (he also directed)
We had Dentist! on a 45 and listened to it over and over ๐
Name four movie musicals you grew up loving
brilliant show. brilliant actress. brilliant activist. rest well, loretta.
I know I gave an og Sixteen Candles away to a friend at the time. This still haunts me. The others are a complete mystery๐
Omg, yes. Very cool ๐คฉ Sometimes I wonder where all my posters went. I know they were ratty in the corners from all the pinning but I just don't remember throwing them out. Sigh...
Drop some SLAPS ๐
He's amazing live, isn't he? And his shows are like 3 hrs long!
Same ๐

Absolutely. Your 12 says it all. And Amerie's 1 Thing definitely deserves your triple B rating.
Feels like Groove got a lot of love this challenge so hopefully that'll be enough to boost it. We'll see ๐ค
๐๐ค
No way! Well a high-five to you! I guess sometimes the obvious feels too obvious, lol. I'd give them more if I could ๐
Thanks again to @1c000lest.bsky.social for putting this all together and doing all the math! Can't wait to see how it all turns out.
So wraps another fun musical show-and-tell, #1C000LEST crew! I only starting posting on Day 24 and I missed everyone sharing wildcard picks, so for the record...
My vote for #Song1001
AC/DC - Thunderstruck
Don't tell me you can't feel a stadium shaking under your boots when you hear it ๐
#1C000LEST
Day 50. Deee-lite - Groove Is In The Heart
Man, did I mourn this group splitting up! This song has been on nearly every playlist I've ever made since it came out. Irresistibly fun and, how do you say?....de-groovy๐ผ
My one and only 12 pointer.
Love when this kind of thing happens. Definitely Esther's calling card!
