Composer Emma O'Halloran's double opera 'Trade/Mary Motorhead' was nominated in the "Best Opera Recording" category. The nomination of this work was highlighted by President Catherine Connolly as "a landmark moment for Irish music and contemporary opera".

Donnacha Dennehy's 'Land of Winter' was nominated in two categories, winning the Grammy for “Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance” for the performance by Alarm Will Sound with conductor Alan Pierson, released on Nonesuch Records.
