I dont assume Im making a huge diffrence with anything I do, but Its never about how much you can do, its always about wether you are doing something at all. I urge everyone to support black creatives and buisnesses, artists and games, vtubers and streamers all year long.
also also, Its important to note that while the fundraiser is ending, these causes and organizations still exist all year round, and that Black History Month serves as a reminder to care, but shouldnt be the sole reason to care. the lives of our marginalized peers are being undermined on the daily.

i think we all need to normalize just being comfortable with giving earnest compliments without weird caveats. if your friend does something cool, tell them it’s cool. i don’t necessarily thrive on compliments, but it does means a lot if a friend goes out of their way to say something kind to me.

finding out that for 2 years I had an annual subscription to an asset library that I had forgotten about while being almost broke is one thing, but finding out that in the 2 years you werent paying attention they had hard pivoted towards AI really makes my head spin, way to spit on me when im down.
