Trying to make some progress on my TBR pile for possible Truman nominees. What should be next? Happy Saturday everyone! #masl #trumanawardcommittee
I couldn't agree louder!! Middle schoolers want age appropriate romance, SEL and other books. Many middle grade are too "baby" and YA are "too much"
I am a VERY frustrated middle school library book purchaser!
Hello! Always looking for new titles like this for my students! Excited to add it to my collection.
My students and I love your books!
Book cover THE TROUBLE WITH HEROES shows a surly 7th grade boy with a backpack and FDNY baseball hat standing on top of a mountain, looking into the distance. A drooly Bernese Mountain Dog looks up at him adoringly.
Time for a book giveaway!
If you'd like me to mail you an advance copy of my Apr. '25 MG novel in verse THE TROUBLE WITH HEROES, follow & share this post. Bonus entry if you also reply w/ a pic from a recent hike!
I'll draw winners on 12/1.

Excellent! Just added it to my next order!
Slowly creeping inβ¦I donβt post a lot, but enjoy civil conversations. I also like keeping up on all my favorite authors, fellow librarians, and baseball news (probably in that order!)
