And as always, my campaign does not run without your support. Please donate to ensure we keep SD41, and Minnesota, the best state to live, work, and raise a family.

I hope you will join me to kickoff my campaign on October 20th in Hastings- click to RSVP for the details. Event RSVP link: docs.google.com/forms/d/1tsi...
It has been an honor to serve the people of Cottage Grove, Hastings, Lake Elmo, Afton, Lakeland, St. Mary’s Point, Lakeland Shores, Lake St. Croix Beach, and Grant, Denmark, Grey Cloud Island, and West Lakeland Townships, and I hope to earn your support again in 2026!
I am excited to announce that I am running to continue serving in the Minnesota Senate!
Last session I co-authored 26 DFL and 26 GOP bills. Also, of the bills I authored as chief author, 72% had legislators from both parties. This is what bipartisanship looks like.

The #1 thing I hear from my constituents is that they are tired of the partisanship and want both sides to work together. I'm proud of the bipartisan work I've done in the MN Senate.
For over a decade I have been honored to provide medical assistance at the State Fair. These folks have made every second of that time a joy. They are the best in the business!
(PC Tom Barrett)
Great to meet with Sheriff Joe Leko in Hastings to talk about all the great work he's doing for Dakota County! Looking forward to continuing to partner with him in the Senate to support public safety and law enforcement.
The rain held off and it was a beautiful day to honor those lost to fentanyl poisoning. The DNF Ride 4 Life took us through beautiful countryside and included some incredible folks. Thank you Bridgette and Tom Norring for a great day, and for all you do for the community. ❤️
Ensuring clean water for every Minnesotan can't wait. Every corner of our state has urgent infrastructure needs from crumbling roads to recycling plants and water treatment facilities. We need a bonding bill this year free of political gamesmanship.

Training. 🔥🔥🔥🚒🚒
Not a single GOP Senator voted to condemn Trump's pardon of the J6 insurrectionists - the same violent criminals who ruthlessly attacked cops. 22 GOP Senators voted no, and the rest just didn't show up for work today 🤷♀️
🚨Town Hall Alert!
Join me this Saturday, April 5 from 10:30-11:30 for a town hall at the Afton City Hall.
Thrilled to ride the Gold Line on its grand opening!
As a paramedic, my aim should be to help those who need medical attention, not ward off assailants. I will always fight for laws that keep our first responders safe and which hold criminals accountable.
The Committee also saw shocking footage of an assault on 2 Medics that occurred in broad daylight. A link to the video footage is in the article.
Proud to sponsor a bill that would hold criminals accountable for assaulting FF & EMS while on the job. My bill was heard yesterday in Judiciary & included the compelling testimony of a Medic who was assaulted on the job.
To be fair, Rep Dipple did invite me today's press conference. Since I have obligations at the capitol this morning, I am unwilling to skip work for a press opportunity on a bill I don't support.
Yes, 3M should pay to clean up the pollution it caused - that's why Hastings is already receiving $16M from the settlement funds. I will continue to fight for solutions for Hastings that do not harm the other cities in my district, and I would urge Dipple to do the same.
While I support creative thinking to deal with the PFAS challenges we face, I do not support a bill that would throw other cities into financial crisis and pit communities in my district (and Dipple's district) against each other.
Today Representative Dipple unveils his "outside-the-box" bill to fund the Hastings water treatment project. This bill would invade the 3M settlement funds that Cottage Grove, Afton, Lake Elmo, and other east metro communities rely on to combat PFAS.
We cannot do anything without each other and I am calling on Rep Dipple to put partisanship and pride aside for the sake of Hastings.
Representative, sign the House jackets for SF550, and let's get Hastings the money it so desperately needs.
Meanwhile, the clock is ticking on an early bonding bill.
This is not working together. I have assured Rep Dipple that I will sign on to any bonding bill he drafts to help Hastings, but so far I have seen nothing.
Rep Dipple refuses to sign the bonding bill I dropped to help fund the Hastings water project.
I have reached out to Rep Dipple countless times asking that we work together to help Hastings. He refuses to work with me on my bill, insisting that he be the one to draft any bill to fund this project.
The 1st bill I dropped this biennium is to secure the much needed $ for Hastings for its water treatment project. This critical infrastructure will ensure Hastings residents have clean water & is my top priority. We need an early bonding bill so MN cities can complete these necessary projects.
We have a unique opportunity this session to create a culture of consensus-building at the capitol, and I'm looking forward to the work we will get done. If you weren't able to attend it live, you can still listen to the panel on MPR's Politics Friday at noon tomorrow!
Last night I had the honor of being invited to speak at the session priorities panel of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce. It was a great discussion with my colleague over in the House, Rep. Andrew Myers.
Today I had the honor of being interviewed by a Japanese film crew who are producing a documentary on PFAS. I am happy to share my work on the issue both locally and internationally to help prevent any more of this forever chemical from entering our environment.
