The real issue isn’t left vs right.
It’s not white vs black.
It’s not citizen vs immigrant.
It’s not gay vs straight.
The real issue is that a lot of powerful people have a vested interest — and a lot of money invested — in dividing us, and it’s working.
Your legacy is the way you made people feel. Your words and actions and rhetoric.
It’s how you’ll be remembered. It’s your lasting impact on others.
We should be helpers in this world, not only because it’s right and good and just, but because it is the legacy we leave for others.

People who are very vocal about their "faith" tend not to be virtuous people extolling the reason for their virtues, but nefarious people seeking to camouflage their immorality.
I am sickened by the relentless demonisation of refugees.
No refugee underfunded a school.
No refugee closed a hospital.
No refugee took away support from the sick and disabled.
We need solutions not scapegoats. Stop blaming refugees and tax the rich instead!
If Farage is predicting that Britain is “not far away from major civil disorder”, it'll be because he's spent most of his time whipping up racial hatred against asylum seekers.
He's an MP, FFS. He is supposed to be upholding the rule of law, not posturing like the tinpot leader of a vigilante gang.
