THE ja piece dropped
THE ja piece dropped
the robbing peter to pay paul paragraph and the paragraph before were bars. unfortunately, the grizz robbed peter because heβs much more acquiescent than paul
one of the most fun college players last year
-javon small had a really strong first half. i think heβll trend up as summer league goes on
-gg jackson was good. he was a play finisher, off-ball scorer and aggressive closeout attacker. thatβs the role he can play with the grizzlies - it maximizes his strengths and minimizes the areas he needs to improve on. would like to see him continue to improve defensively, especially in help side
-if you donβt block cam spencerβs shot, itβs probably going in. he needs no space to get his shot off, and his touch is special
watched last nightβs game again this morning. a few thoughts:
-jaylen wells (along with ajay mitchell for the thunder) looked a level above. confident shooter and defender. iβd mark him down as the starter on the wing with KCP
i assume we get the official Grizzlies summer league roster at some point today. hereβs what i have pieced together so far based on various reports
cedric coward swing skills: handle/on ball creation, polishing up his defensive technique, and adding core/lower body strength
his jumper will allow him to get on the floor early
really buy Cedric Coward's jumper. the mechanics are sound and the statistical indicators are borderline elite:
83.2 FT% on 179 attempts
38.8 3pt% on 188 attempts
56.8% on non-rim twos on 58.6
thank you!
bump for the AM crowd

two great P&R possessions from jase richardson. hits a tough floater for the and-1 then an excellent threaded bounce pass on a backdoor cut from coen carr

tahaad pettiford is one of the coolest players in college hoops
2025 prospects who meet this criteria (obviously excluding the lottery pick stipulation)
fairly simple bart query that almost always produces productive nba players:
high major freshman lottery picks with greater than 20 assist%, 2 steal% and 5 BPM
