The doctors from doctor who, in miniature form on a shelf.
Here's my versions of the gang:
GF9 did a resin version of the War Doctor for the game but good luck finding it, it was a con exclusive - I've been looking for years now!
Always interesting that modern artists so comm9nly render Grainne NΓ Mhaille in 1710s clothing, brandishing a flintlock and a cutlass. We have one image of "pirate" and will shove anyone into that box
I remember a bunch of us at GW getting a real dressing down by a bigwig for playing non-GW games in the design studio (even after hours). "What sort of message does it send?" he asked.
That we're professional game designers?
Nah. Rule was, if it's non-GW and it got spotted, it went in the trash.
I thought this guy was a surprisingly difficult model to paint considering it's just a shirtless tube dude. You've done a great job, love it.
A shelf of paint bottles, many of which have caps painted in the colour inside the bottle.
I am printing little hats for my paints
I've just moved from England to Wales, a country roughly 6x times smaller - but that doesn't mean that all my local amenities have to be 6x closer, density doesn't have to scale like that.
I don't think it's the size that surprises Europeans about America (after all both Europe and the USA are landmasses of roughly the same size), it's probably more the density and sprawl that are surprising.
Sold millions of copies. Still not enough to keep your job.
The people running these major publishers need to get the hell out of here.
Photo of a long-haired white cat bounding down a plowed path cut through deep snow. The photo caught the cat at the perfect moment when their forelegs were outstretched flying through the air.

βHIELANMAN'S UMBRELLAβ should be a new law of journalism, which states that if AI generated photos are used in a news article, all reporting from that publication should be instantly distrusted.
I've recently dipped my toe into some subreddits and I feel this so much. It's infuriating.
Remember how the media tried to stoke Islamophobia by debating whether US muslims were celebrating 911? Evangelicals are dancing as brown people get murdered in the name of their god and the media won't bat an eyelid
Assmebling.
A room with an L shaped desk, 3 monitors, a steering wheel and a shelving unit full of paint
I've finally finished unpacking and assmebling my office / hobby room
It's ominous that there have been no updates since then. I hope you're not still trapped!
I maintain that simply arresting Elon musk and making a real example of him is the quickest way to global stability
a thing I'm mortally tired of: watching the markets that set the boundary conditions of my life (and over which I have no power whatsoever) crater because people who, if asked, I could have told you were dangerous morons did something stupid
ah THE COMPLETE HOMOSEXUAL HANDBOOK, one of the lesser known late TSR products.
I understand the feeling, but I don't think either Will Jennings or John Oxley have changed their position here - both of them were saying similar things in 2024.

most of human society consists of talking to each other and paying each other
A shelf full of miniatures from different factions and game systesn
I've found some more of my old models to put in the "Kallax cube of random models that won't fit in anywhere else". Some of these guys were painted in 2002.
Big day for my friend who has always hated the Midwinter Minis guy, now he can hate him for telling people to use ChatGPT to play Warhammer instead.
You don't want to know
Oh god, Inkpad, a simple plain text notes app I've been using for years, mainly for shopping lists & jotting notes for podcasts, but I also used it drafting my parents' eulogies... now has an AI that thinks all those rather different things are What My Life Is, and will vomit out advice accordingly
I had just sang a weird little song to my cat about a minute before I read this post.
This is such a minor thing to be annoyed about but it bugs me that they call it kibble when it's not a shelf stable dry food.
There's nothing wrong with beef and rice (except you should add vegetables and seasoning) but does it have to be called boy kibble?
I just want people to stop being weird about food
