While tidying up my knitting basket, I found this finished project 🫣 That I completed last year 😬 So here’s it’s official FO post 😊 (Probably should be cleaning up that basket more than once a year 😂🤷🏼‍♀️)

Hey would ya look at that! A FO 🥳 I will admit that I take being a process knitter way too far and don’t finish anything in a reasonable amount of time. But I can proudly say that these sock are done in time for Fall 😏 Looking forward to having some cozy feets!

It feels so good to have an uninterrupted morning to just sit, knit, and drink my coffee. The weather is overcast and cozy, with a soft rain falling. Perfect 😌 and just what I need right now 🧡

I’ve added a small batch of wool to the shop today!

Since my summer is filling up with adventures, I will be adding fiber to the shop as I dye it for the next few months. I’ll be sure to share on here when new fiber is available. And then in September, I’ll return to having scheduled shop updates 😊

Fiber Friday ⛈️ You know the feeling of a storm brewing? The way the air smells. The electricity in the air. The hair standing up on your arms. I never know if that feeling is excitement or fear. Probably both. But I love it! This colorway is called Summer Storm and is inspired by that feeling 🩶

I’m not 100% sure what I was thinking when I spun this braid up as one continuous single. A combo spin, perhaps? But it stayed on the bobbin for a year 🫣 So this week, I caked it up and plied it using each of the ends of the cake. I’m pretty happy with it. And I’m happy to have my bobbin back 😉
