i went to a physiotherapist for the first time and treated myself to icecream for being brave ' w '

but it seems a lot of people become unaware of this and the spaces i end up in seem solely aimed at these "other purposes", where it ends up being for showing off (?) and then retreating.. which to me feels like it's missing the point

i somehow feel annoyed that, even though it's obvious all humans seek connection and belonging, we often have to pretend we are not and that we are reaching out/coming together for other purposes
