How far are you through ticket to ride legacy?

Cozy game alert …. I’m in love with Winter Burrow. I want the board game. Please someone design it. 💜

We quit after about 9 turns. Very very rare for us not to see a game through but it felt like an assignment. It had been on the shelf unplayed for a few years. I don’t remember it being quite this clunky, over engineered ball ache last time.

Just played draftosaurus and my immediate thought was “oh I remember how peaceful this is- why has it taken us 3 years to pull off the shelf again!”

Why do commentators in this hobby need to be so right v wrong, judgemental and categorical so much. It’s really starting to give me the ick. When did we lose the ability to accept a range of views, instead of the “I said you’re wrong therefore you must be and I invite the mob to pile on”. 🤢

The decision to cut professional ties with them at the same time and the caveated votes of confidence / trust in them made it, in my view, inevitable that Paula Matt Monique and naveen would experience fall out from this sad sorry situation. I really feel for them.

I read the first one, started the 2nd about 5 times. then watched the film adaptation and decided to just try again! I’ve read book 2 and 3 since Christmas. determined to finish the series. So book 4 is my Feb evenings! 🤣. Would love to work in a library. Surrounded by knowledge joy and discovery!

Who have I become …. A bit like my old self perhaps? Just starting book 3 since Christmas. A light easy fun fiction just hits a spot for me. Thanks to Richard Osman for helping me find a bit of myself again! After about 10-15 years of forgetting what a book can do for me.

I mean…. You’ve got me! There weee just too many different people barking different road orders at me. I ended up pleasing nobody! 😂

This was us last week… we had spag bol for dinner, cheese, wine and a themed playlist! Really gets me into the mood! Still suck at viticulture but play it the way it’s meant to be enjoyed!

I was going to call it a temperature check too - and when I do it, generally people either say “nah we’re fine” and I say ‘let’s crack on then. Just checking: good to know.’ Or…. More often, people have already started packing away before I finish the question! 😂.
