it a a tough one today as i would happily drink all if those drams but im gonna go with the Velvet Fig 12, its continued the legacy if its forefathers (or mothers)

N: bbq fish kind of smoke, while on a ferry - hopefully its from the kitchen and not the engines

theres subtle sweetness that creeps in as well

yeh, i dont bring up price often...especially on Bunnas where i have spent far to much but it cant see how that comes out at 275

P: sugared almonds, some soor plooms, salted caramel.

its a really easy to drink solid bunna

however i know Bunna themselves love a silly price but 275 seems way off piste

P: maybe its cuase i made some at the weekend but mars bar cakes, i dont actually think i know what fig tastes like but raisons, dried cranberrys & mixed nuts

it a fruit and nut bar thats broken into a distillery

ive loved the previous 3 iternations of VF so lets so how this is

N: straight off the bat theres freshly honeycombed honecomb (toffee) , melon (Cantaloupe or Gaiia) the inside of a pack of chocolate buttons

P: it was like the nose was playing a prank on me*

some heft and chew to it, sweet burnt ends, chocolate gâteau, curly wurlies and tree bark

ABV has coated my entire mouth and provided a pleasant tingle

*i am getting new windows fitted and the house reeks of silicone

its hiding the ABV well

P: More Biscuit less fruit, Rye spice is at the forefront with the Malt making it a bit more savoury , Christmas ham, sour dough and salted butter
