I knew that my whole life and I thought I was escaping that. Turns out I was wrong. The worst part is I don’t even live in the states but still people say we should be careful what to share on socials.

How To Stop Gazans From Dying of Starvation Right Now "This famine is a man-made catastrophe," writes David Miliband. Here’s what can be done right now.

"The government of Israel’s restrictions on aid have created the conditions for famineβ€”and the window to prevent mass death is rapidly closing.

"It is too late for too many, but not for all. The choice is ours and the time is now."

I may starve to death before I am able to graduate in Gaza My only dream is to take the tawjihi exam so I can continue my education. Is this too much to ask?

One can only hope that history will judge harshly all those who are complicit in or remain silent in the face of genocide

It seems that the European Far Right is jealous from Trump and want to censure science as well! All my support to John Tolan and all members of the EuQu project

We're tracking the number of international students whose visas have been revoked by the State Department. We've confirmed over 300 so far and there are likely many more. Get in touch if you've got information you'd like to share with us www.insidehighered.com/news/global/...

Since this is back…
Unfortunately, academic inflation and toxic productivity culture has all but done away with this. The effects of this on science advancement will be seen for generations. Slowing down and thinking deeply is essential to solve complex problems and it’s undervalued at every level

ANd some of it may also be that they thought these laws concernded only "bad" migrants, which is not their case

What is sleep exactly? Global and local modulations of sleep oscillations all around the clock Wakefulness, non-rapid eye-movement (NREM) and rapid eye-movement (REM) sleep differ from each other along three dimensions: behavioral, phenomenologi…

Our review on *Local Sleep* is finally out!

We cover the emerging notion that sleep can be a local brain phenomenon across wakefulness and sleep.
And the consequences for cognition and consciousness.
