They made 8 sequels to the DS?
I don't remember if which authority said "40 minutes is feature length" I'd have to do more research than a quick Google search.
Oh, yeah, isn't there a thing where the Academy or whatever considers feature length as longer than 40 minutes or some shit? I think the Disney/Pixar knock-off films did that a lot.
ATHF Wiki progress: I fixed up Mothmonsterman article and the newly renamed Brownie Monsters such that they now have multiple sections describing the character (eg, Character History, Biology, Powers, etc.)
In regards to ATHF Wiki, there was a talk page where the user in question said a girl she goes to school with was named Celeste. She was an unregistered user on (what was) Wikia at the time.
Before User:Siberian99 adopted the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Wiki, there were a few articles that called Master Shake "Celeste" and alleged that Shake turned nice in newer episodes after "Allen Part Two." I sometimes think about this. I wonder how the user who added this is doing these days.
It's probably worth a bullet point or two under the "Trivia" section on Frylock's page, but I don't want the article to be a target for vandalism or weird edits (people inserting weird headcanons into the article).
I think we need a main character in wacky sitcom to just unashamedly read Vogue like "Guys, keep it down. I'm trying to read an article about getting red wine out of white jeans, and I've been on the same page for 10 minutes!"
Actually maybe I shouldn't be so surprised. The Ed Edd n Eddy fanbase on Tumblr is super gay, and LGBTQ+ users seem to have reclaimed the gay kiss from the previously fan hated episode "Your Ed Here" because gay!
It's surprising to me that some people resonate with Frylock as a trans lesbian because I think Mr. Willis and Mr. Maiellaro meant it as an edgy joke back then.
That said, as an ally, I like jokes about LGBTQ+ trends, etc like Prof. Oak/Prof. Birch asking the player "Are you a boy or a girl?"
I don't remember Meatwad being genderless, but I can believe it happened.
<That moment from "Super Trivia" where Frylock uses Shake as a data resource for bar trivia, and he starts spelling the word "lesbians">
The computer has been sent for repairs again.
I don't know when I'm going to get around to making YouTube videos. Hopefully I start this year, but... I don't know.
@ghostplanet.bsky.social What are your pronouns by the way?
I remembered by the time I posted my previous reply.
Oops, for a minute there, I forgot what Charlie looked like and thought that guy in a costume was him.
America's future looks bleak (and boring). Anti-intellectualism is in vogue. The arts are being punished by AI/funding cuts. Hollywood is merging into a bland singularity that greenlights safe slop. Cool people who can afford it are leaving, and teachers are quitting because kids can't/won't learn.
Tangentially, it's also kind of weird to me that we have so little information on the "Carl's Pissed" spin-off (where he talks sports). Most of it is just episode titles, and some tidbits about Carl I can't fact-check because the videos have been removed.
I also don't want the ATHF wiki to have too many articles about the spin-off. I think one article for each episode would maybe be fine, but I don't want every character from the spin-off (besides the main four) getting their own article.
I maybe should make some articles for Soul Quest Overdrive on the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Wiki, but I kind of don't want to cuz I've heard the spin-off is very bad, and considering it got cancelled four or five episodes in, that sounds about right.
Tubi now has Da Boom Crew
This show was pulled after only 2 episodes. I've been told this is the plot of Homestuck.
Like give Cartoon Network this, they knew how to promote and hype this whole event up
I think there was also the series creator of Twelve Forever (Julia Vickerman) working on PPG 2016, and she was definitely outed as a creep.
The writer in question got worked up and sweaty talking about Blossom in an interview, and if the writers did it as an inside joke, it seems like it was done in bad faith on some level. It always seemed like the other crew members fanning the flames to avoid getting the entire crew in hot water
To answer the first question: Blossom had a crush on this kid at school who was very clearly based on one of the writers. Another crew member said it was an inside joke that the writer in question didn't come up with, but I don't know if I would take that counter-claim at face value.
I like the scene in "Baffler Meal" where Moltar says "...I mangled him, [slight pause] ate him, and put on his skin as a joke." It's so dark and screwed up, it wraps back around to being funny!
I always wondered why there's such a casual reference to The Shining in "Stop, Look, and Ed" (Actually when I was like ten years old, I thought it was a reference to the "Homer sees what he thinks is an alien and meets the X Files guys" episode of The Simpsons.)

I stole this from my English pen pal, and he probably stole it from someone else.
When these studios combine, it's going to be a LOT harder to say "no, I won't take that job on a moral level" because there just won't be any other jobs to take. Talented people will either have to debase themselves or leave the industry and it's a no win situation for thousands of artists.
