Very atmospheric! Unsurprisingly here at the seaside the #FirstBirdOfMyDay was a couple of Herring Gulls squabbling over a snack πΊ

A fascinating article which I will take full notice of when I finally get my summer house and plot going. Although, tbf, βlow-intensity land management practicesβ were probably always the intention! ππΉ
Looks like mine after a few too many phall curries πΉπΉπΉ
All we can do is spread the word personally to the people we meet. From small acorns do mighty oaks grow πΊ
Youβre very welcome, Chloe πΊ Itβs these small things that are so important. We need to concentrate on them and make sure theyβre there for future generations.

How lovely. A real tonic πΊ
Yeah heβs been around a while now so Iβm really hoping heβs successful. If there are any female Robins in the area theyβll hear him for sure!
The Robin is singing his little heart out from the scrub behind and in front of our block. Am so rooting for him to find a partner! π» #FirstBirdOfMyDay
Morning, Mushen! I always have the same feeling about Friday - am very happy to work on this day knowing that I have a free one ahead of me πΊ Even better when I know itβs going to be sunny! A trip to the seaside is in order, methinks π
I think you can start any hashtag trend you want, tbf! Thatβs a magnificent tree.
Will do! At the moment it looks like they might die of drought - if it doesnβt rain soon Iβll have to start watering.
What lovely birdsong! Itβs all coming alive π»

Wow so beautiful - ours are a good month away from flowering, I reckon!
We can hope.
Our two are generally very well behaved until BG decides itβs breakfast time, whenever that is! Same with D-I-N-N-E-R - heβs calmed until about an hour before then god help us all πΉ
No-one gets under my covers! πGood grief! Luckily BG doesnβt really get going till gone 5 although thatβs irritating when we get up at 6 - the last hour of sleep is buggered πΎ
The only βlightβ he sees is at 5.30 in the morning when he decides that itβs breakfast time, and then encourages Pumpkin to start batting at the blinds. God help us when it actually is light at 5.30! πΉπ
He nearly fainted from the five-second wait! ππΉ
Big Ginge the ginger cat gives a particularly Hard Stare into the camera when his dinner is not forthcoming. It will be soon .
βYou arbitrarily changed my dinner time and expect me not to notice?β #GinjaBoiz
Good for you, Carol. Iβm sick to the back teeth of a few psychopaths ruining everything for the 99%.
Right little hooligans, our local gang πΉ
What a lovely springtime image! Here in the city we have more rubbish dump with a Starling perched on my feeder and throwing seeds left, right and centre πΉ #FirstBirdOfMyDay
Thank you πΊI love how good things get passed around social media. Just wish the bad things didnβt!
An Atlantic Puffin standing in green coastal grass, shown in profile with its distinctive black-and-white plumage and bright orange, red, and yellow beak wide open. The background is softly blurred, suggesting a rocky shoreline.
I just heard that todayβs #BirdOfTheDay theme is #ShoutItOut β birds calling. This Puffin says, βLETβS GO!β πΊπ
I was just saying to OH last night when we went to bed that once today is over itβs nearly the weekend! The sun is out, the coffeeβs brewing, itβs going to be a Good Day, I feel πΊ Hope yours goes well too!
Yes, they kind of need to be βleft alone in a calm spotβ to do their own thing. Beautiful flower!
Ah! There you go! πΊ
A large, mature crack willow (I think) standing alone in an open meadow under a clear blue sky. The tree is leafless in early spring, with a thick, fissured trunk and a broad crown of arching, intricate branches. There is a line of darker woodland in the background, and the dry grass in the foreground is sunlit.
Hereβs my favourite βloneβ tree on a βpre-springβ (as itβs called in PL) day. Itβs slowly waking up from slumber, ready to share its shade with all the people who will sit under it to read, talk and picnic this year π» #ThickTrunkTuesday
