Sorry to persist on this, but I am genuinely interested in your thinking. Support from AIPAC is a negative for a Dem pres candidate on many levels. Shouldn’t we point out these things clearly and early? I’ll vote for whomever gets the nom, but many will never vote for an AIPAC funded candidate.

This is such an important question. In DC, our diverse city with a large and storied Black community, is currently under occupation by overwhelming white Guard members from Republican states. It seems the Guard’s role has moved from emergency services to policing Black bodies

I’m thinking that his big plan is to have this go into effect right after he releases the health care plan, the DOGE checks, the tariff refunds and the unredacted Epstein files.

To be fair, no one has ever accused them of having any kind of discernment, awareness, good judgement or moral compass.

They upended our budget and the lives of struggling families to force DC to give tax cuts to affluent residents. As if they had nothing more important to do in Congress

This is exactly what they are doing to DC. Groups of armed soldiers everywhere, over-policing on steroids, massive layoffs triggering business closures, and Congress literally taking over our decisions about how to use our own tax dollars in order to promote poverty.

Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.
