In SNAP appeal, Trump administration says it faces more harm than people who can't buy food: ANALYSIS
The Trump administration is appealing a federal judge's requirement that it make full November SNAP payments.
Let's simplify: the government is arguing that once the money is spent, it can't be unspent (and that would be horrible). But the hungry can't eat tomorrow (and that's not as bad). That is the contention.

Trump, echoing Project 2025, using 'flood the zone' strategy to push agenda: Experts
President Donald Trump has utilized one of Project 2025's key tactics by overwhelming the courts and the public with constant policy changes, legal experts say.
James Sample, a constitutional law expert at Hofstra University, said said that Trump's playbook appears to be straight out of Project 2025 ... [and that] "the purpose of a blitzkrieg is to overwhelm the opposition."

βA watershed momentβ: Lawyers hope delays in Trump case are not a βprelude to a dismissalβ
Prosecutors mull pursuing a 2029 sentencing, as Trump's legal team pushes to dismiss the New York case
www.salon.com/2024/11/19/a...
β[A] delay in sentencing is not, nor should it be perceived to be, a prelude to a dismissal,β Sample told Salon.
Sample noted that winning an election βshould not mean disrespecting another important part of our democracy β the jury trial.β

I really don't get how Democrats can be handed the easy layup of "Republicans are uniting to suppress the underage sex trafficking report about an unliked and unqualified nominee" and decide the best thing to do is minimize its importance.
