@jonathancohn.bsky.social Has your org or someone else written a MA legislature in actual practice explainer doc?
It's almost like politicians don't want voters to understand what they are up to.
Ah, so the list of amendments is "here are the amendments we are discarding"?
@jamiedickerson.bsky.social? @jonathancohn.bsky.social ?
For example, the climate bank bill was Amendment 2, which has an "action" listed as consol. amdt. C which was adopted by a roll call vote 121-26. But I don't see it in an engrossed bill (H5157) and I'm hearing maybe it wasn't adopted?
Hey #mapoli folks! Can anyone explain to me how "consolidated amendments" in the MA legislature? There were 3 on H5151 that were adopted but I'm hearing that individual amendmts listed in each consolidated amendment may not have made it into the package?

Because this is social media, I should clarify that I'm not saying the NYSERDA analysis is industry funded but just that analysis showing price impacts this large from climate policy often have some pretty debatable assumptions.
@costasamaras.com @jessedjenkins.com ?
Hey #energysky! Has anyone dug into the actual NYSERDA analysis here? I've seen a lot of industry funded analysis of climate policy over the years and the assumptions really matter!
