Itβs so good

Nerd. Spooky gay. Eldritch millennial forest goblin. I like mushrooms, tarot cards, folklore, and shiny rocks. Just here starring into the void, posting spooky/nerdy/funny/witchy things I think are neat. He/Him π§πΌββοΈ π π³οΈβπ
Itβs so good
:( Hopefully youβre up and about soon
A lovely escape from the dystopia.
And you never do
When βGood Morning, Baltimoreβ comes on I canβt help myselfβ I HAVE to sing along. Granted thatβs true with a lot of #showtunesβ¦ but that song in particular is like instant good mood like βAnother Day of Sunβ from La La Land. #theaterkid #theatrekid #dramaclub
I was just thinking about this - bsky feels like such a safe space (at least up till now) that I can find silly, nerdy, and risky skeets in my feed and itβs all good and supportive.
this is what it feels like to post on bluesky
Bluesky really does feel like Iβm back in primary school, running up to the other weird kids on the playground and showing them the random rock I found. I love it.
Iβm adding one to mine and bought my bf. Heβs gonna love it

BF saw it while working at a dig site so he sent it to me to pay his mushroom tax. Thought Iβd share. π π·

Iβm still thinking about it. It was the most apple flavored apple Iβve ever had. I donβt even know what kind of apple it was but I know Iβm going to be chasing that flavor every time I bite into an apple for the rest of my life.
An Apple vote and clementine peel in a napkin.
Every now and then I eat a piece of fruit and from the first bite to the last it is _THE_ embodiment of what I imagine that fruit to taste like. Today I got two. I wish I could perfectly save the memory of eating this apple and this clementine because they were the absolute perfect flavors.
Honestly thatβs become my primary vehicle for consuming books for the last few years because of my commute time. Gotta squeeze it in where you can.
I hadnβt even noticed the rosecomb, good eye. Thank you for tips. Iβll see what I can do until this flush dies out then sanitize and start again. At least theyβre fun to look at even if Iβm not eating them.
Very humid. I havenβt moistened the substrate in a long while but my area has been pretty humid the last few because of rain.
The two oysters have a white / blue-green mold in the substrate. The lionβs mane had a black colored mold that made the chamber smell terrible. I got rid of the lionβs mane and moved the oysters but I theyβve started to show signs of the other mold too.

Close up of the golden oyster mushrooms.
Close your of the pink oyster mushrooms, their color washed out. Some of the parasitic mold can be seen to the left of the picture.
Normally avoid posting pics of my cultivated mushrooms for #FungiFriday but these pink & golden oysters fought off major contamination (fungi on fungi violence) & flushed beautifully. Not safely edible at this point & Iβll need to deep clean the grow chamber but I admire their resilience.
- Adventure of Link: my first and loaded with nostalgia, gift from my uncle who started me on RPGs
- Link to the Past: It was so much fun and quirky
- Twilight Princess: great game and it was how I introduced my nephew to RPGs.
And I was doing so well until the third one. 4 out 5 ainβt bad.

I love my cat dearly and sheβs a regal queenβ¦ but she likes to time hairballs and vomit at the worst possible moments.

Drop something green
How about somewhere thatβs green?
Shelf mushrooms climbing the side of a live oak. Bonus lichen and some other orange fungi Iβm not sure of to the side.
