When it comes to community venues in Vancouver, what makes the Roundhouse so unique is that it’s a combination of arts centre, recreation facility, and historic landmark. From rooms for small meetings and a multi-purpose gym, to the black-box theatre and Turntable Plaza, the Roundhouse offers versatile space for a multitude of events, including weddings, gallery exhibitions, and arts festivals—for 3 to 300 people.

It’s a fine venue for community events, but VanCAF is internationally recognized. It makes for a genuinely miserable attendee experience, and that was when it was being held in May. I think it’s going to be straight up hazardous in July.
Was there any insight re: why they’re so determined to stay in a venue they outgrew ten years ago. Sorry this is just rhetorical. I am frustrated about this though.
