thats the thing I dont have a problem with that. Thats a difference of opinion which I respect. Its the ones that choose to pick fights and even threaten Kurtzman (and yes they have) I have issue with. Someone who doesnt like a show I respect, disagree with but will defend their right to an opinion.
I'm ancient enough to not care what people think. I am a proud Trekkie with my opinions I respect those that have constructive arguments take friends who dislike Disco. I respect them they have valid points we agree to disagree. Those that attack new Trek without even watching it I have no sympathy.

As someone who was born in 1979 and a Trekkie since 4 years old let me interject. DS9 was unpopular amongst some fans. Same as TNG and Voyger. Similarly the people who say Academy is not for them are the same folk who at one point hated DS9. Its a circle. I love Academy I love DS9 and all Trek.
