First outdoor ride of the year yesterday. I drove to the trailhead since I have to be off the streets for another month. Flat as flat gets but it was still an awesome ride.

My wife has been non-weigh bearing for the past two weeks after surgery and I am on standby for meals etc.
I just received a low disk space alert from my brain after today's round of requests.
We had a fight about one onerous intersection in our neighborhood. Neighbors claimed the traffic calming measures were damaging their cars and emergency vehicles would be impacted. Then I caught a fire truck going through just fine.

Funny how the same issues relate to motor vehicles, and yet there isn't the same hue and cry. Running red lights, running signs, hitting pedestrians and cyclists, and speeding. In Pittsburgh and other cities, red-light camera enforcement is increasing, but not much else.
I know it's a joke, but I've had situations on the trail where I've had to sit behind someone for a bit until it's safe to pass. I usually inform the person ahead of what I'm doing so they don't slow down or get pissed off. I usually don't group ride because drama.
Just took mine in. New bottom bracket, new headset, and brake bleed. $$$ but if it's ready on Saturday, I'll be riding on Sunday.
Rural roads are one thing. City side streets are another. Why are we paying $500k/mi for low traffic side streets that are glorified parking lots, plus alleys? And if the cars are moving, they're usually at less than full occupancy.
Pittsburgh had two flash freeze events. The roads froze over in a matter of minutes, rendering every motorized vehicle useless. I was passed by three bikes, navigating with no issues on studded winter tires. Hills and turns? Perfectly fine.

I went to check on my #Mounjaro scrip which is once again backordered. Then I was ambushed by a Girl Scout troop selling cookies. Shop-vac, engaged.
Sometimes life isn't fair.
2/2 GLP1s are covered under my plan. One approved pharmacy won't fill GLP1 orders at all. One is rationing, only ordering one box of Mounjaro per dose per week because they lose money on every scrip fill. I'm on a five week delay.
I already filed with state investigators.

Taught both kids how to drive in cemeteries. More than 90% of people they could hit are already dead, and if I died, they could just push me out the passenger side.
2/2 I also need to start a GoFundMe for the rest of the mall so they survive. Last, I have to put tassles, a license plate, a bell and rear radar on her knee scooter. So much to do, so little time. 😈

I should say it works great on my Windows machine using WSL and Cursor`s command line tool. Claude desktop can't find it. I may need to build a Windows/Linux/Mac client, which I haven't done in some time.
One of the biggest PITAs about riding a bike in #Pittsburgh is trying to determine if my desired route is under construction and/or blocked. DOMI has a map but it's not so easy to find or use, so I created a queryable MCP server. Works great locally. Now to publish it for public use.
