Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.

Went to a kids march in St Paul with my kids 7 and (almost) 11 today.
Watching these kids with their friends and their friends’ families gives me so much hope. History has its eyes on us. let’s build a better world for these kids.

Everyone here has had to decide what they will and won’t do. Will you take someone in your house? Will you bring them groceries? Will you patrol streets with a whistle? Will you do some other kind of work, of which there are many. And how many of these types.

I think that’s not the question we should be asking. It’s not about getting people on board with AI use. I want people to understand the different facets of AI to lay a foundation for ethical and responsible use - and that’s a spectrum.
